EliseAI has raised US$350m in a round valuing the AI firm at US$4bn, expanding its automation tools for housing and healthcare systems.

The funding round was led by Andreessen Horowitz and Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, Sapphire Ventures and Navitas Capital.

EliseAI develops artificial intelligence tools designed to automate administrative workflows for housing and healthcare systems, such as scheduling and other back-office tasks that would otherwise be handled manually by staff.

The company said it will use the funds to expand its engineering, deployment and sales teams, and to establish San Francisco as a second engineering hub alongside its New York headquarters.

Minna Song, co-founder and CEO of EliseAI, said, “Housing has enormous problems to solve, and we’ve grown by going deeper with our customers until we’ve solved the root causes.

“Every year our customers trust us with more of their operations, and that kind of trust is only earned by a company built to last. Andreessen Horowitz and Bessemer Venture Partners understand that, and they’re the partners we want for the long term.”
